George Orwell, Dylan Thomas and Anthony Burgess are among the famous literary characters who have enjoyed a pint or ten in this delightful Fitzrovia pub.

This is a beautiful building, inside and out, with friendly staff and once the after work crowd have ebbed away the Wheatsheaf is a great place to waste a few hours.

There is also a regular comedy night on Saturday, put on by the reliably good 99 Comedy Club which finishes nice and early so you can still make it out clubbing.
