This funky boutique bar and club in West London is refreshingly unpretentious and has a decent rosta of music.

With quite cool regulars like Damon Albarn and Jazzy B and a music policy that explores the fringes of dancehall, hip hop, electronica and indie every night, you have to like this place. The drinks are not extortionate, there are a few tables and chairs, but the entire focus of the club, and indeed, the bar staff, is on the music. They love it.

A night at Cherry Jam usually involves shouted conversations with your mates, a spot of eye tennis with somebody gorgeous, one too many beers and an inadvisable demonstration of your funky chicken dance styles to the assembled crowd.
