The Waddington Galleries puts great emphasis on its substantial collection of works by celebrated artists such as Picasso and Matisse, as well as catering for the contemporary international scene by representing artists from Europe, North America and Britain.

Unlike some of its fellow modern and contemporary galleries, Waddington radiates an air of prestige more commonly associated with slightly more established venues. However, it has successfully eschewed pretentiousness and allows the less hardcore art lover to bask in the gentle glory of the pieces on exhibition.
