Second space of the White Cube empire, the foremost exhibitors of the biggest and baddest artists in the world. These guys have a hotline to Hirst, Emin and the rest of the Young British Artists currently showing the world how it should be done.
Owner Jay Jopling is married to controversial photographer Sam Taylor-Wood (she of the sleeping Beckham shots) and he has the charm, application and good fortune to befriend every controversial and innovative modern artist from the last several generations, from Gilbert and George to the Chapman Brothers.
The second space is bigger than its sister, and hosts expansive collections by younger, bolder artists. Hoxton Square is still the locus for the giants of the Brit scene, but this is still one of London's top galleries, and never less than inspiring to the visitor.
