Like an Irish bar in the heart of an unknown foreign land, Walkabouts are an ever-present and essential part of any large town on this fair isle.
Little wonder that London has 10 of the buggers, and this the biggest and most Aussie-centric of the lot. There's a massive gig/dancing area where covers bands and resident DJs supply the tunes, and the bar is longer than a croc's front tooth.
Sure, it's loud, brash, full of drunks and the toilets are tolerated rather than used, but its slightly better than drinking a tinny on the green.
