Formerly Attica, the favoured hunting grounds of such luminaries as Pharrell Williams, this venue wasn't just given a facelift, like many of the other clubs in the area which recently underwent interior surgery; it had its insides transposed the way Nicholas Cage and John Travolta "faced off".

Boasting state of the art interactive walls, which react to your movements (e.g., the projected fish will swim away if you try to squash them the way children are prone to when faced with aquariums) and LED installations projecting over 1000 colours onto the walls and ceiling, 24 takes the clubbing experience to a whole different level.

The man behind the concept, Cris Calarco says: "at 24 you can even choose what colour you want the décor, so it matches your outfit. You can choose the music, the drinks, even the company you are with if you wish"...at a price.

Mortals beware - while members of the general public have been known to blag their way in every once in a while, entry is far from guaranteed, no matter how many times your name is on the guestlist. Once you're in, it's worth the effort.
