With a central location near to Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden and Leicester Square and a ten-year history of promoting innovative dance and club culture, Bar Rumba is certainly one for club junkies to pencil in.


With two bars, and an intimate dance-floor in the basement with a capacity of 455, Bar Rumba is a reliably kicking night out. Movement the iconic drum 'n' bass testing ground lived here for its entire lifespan.

They closed for the summer to spruce things up a bit and their new schedule takes things further in a house and techno direction which can only be a good thing.

Went to Rumba on the weekend. Had to wait a long time in the que but it was worth the wait! When I finally got inside the bar staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was great! Will be back very soon!

I was in Bar Rumba on Friday celebrating my Birthday.
I have gone out a lot in London, and have to say it was the best night out that I have had.
I love the drinks, the table nibbles etc..
My one criticism would be the music, would have like more up 2 to date, fresh tunes but it was a great night, will defo be back.

I got invited to Rumba by my friend for her bday and it was a great night! Its not the best looking club but i had such a fab time! Staff were friendly and the music was right on!! I'll be back soon.

Had a wicked hen night at rumba on saturday! great crowd! Polite people from the staff to just general customers! Door control was great! Dont know why Bar rumba is tagged (above) as a salsa reggae ska club :S, i didnt hear anything like that myself and i did ask the music policy before booking and was told it was commercial, mainstream. Which for me was perfect! All in all i would recommend!
