Soho Theatre

21 Dean Street, Soho, W1D 3NE
Tel: 0870 429 6883

A fine fringe theatre in the heart of London dedicated solely to new work, but designed to have a broad appeal with challenging drama balanced by comedy and cabaret. It's one of the few fringe theatres that actually does what it sets out to do.

As well as establishing itself as one of London's most important theatres, The Soho's extensive workshops and accessible productions have made it a real community theatre in an unlikely West End setting.

It's home to the Writer's Centre which supports fledgling authors and playwrights, but it also hosts sell-out shows by the likes of Josie Long, Richard Herring and Tim Key, which help balance the books.

Comfortable to the visitor and with a great programme of events, an excellent bar/cafe and good quality control on productions, the Soho is a triumphant example of non-conformist theatre that you will truly enjoy.

This discerning little theatre has the best fringe shows around - I've yet to go to a bad performance here. Located right in the heart of the party district, there's plenty of great places to kick on to post-show as well.
