The Sunday Telegraph calls it "the place James Bond takes a lady at the end of a film" and it certainly has that high-tech, surreal feel about it. There are orbs of light on the walls and aquariums scattered here, there and everywhere.
It is members only but if non-members make enough of a good impression on the doormen they can blag their way through. Japanese food and snacks are available usually coming in under £10 and fashion jeans and trainers are allowed - all this making The Kingly Club seem like a decent blend of the easygoing and the exclusive.
