Best of a bunch of bars in the alleys behind Carnaby Street, Two Floors has outlived dozens of rivals despite having no sign and a pretty unobtrusive entrance. Soho workers and in-the-know boozers out in this part of town will head here for one thing - no frills drinks.
Two Floors don't organise burlesque dancers for your table. They don't make flaming cocktails. They don't have guest DJs from the middle pages of the free rags. They don't have a mission statement, a theme, or a set of toilets designed by a sensitive French genius so that your pee literally melts into the floor.
What they do have, is a few crates of awesome vinyl and CDs kicking about behind the bar, lots of knackered but comfortable furniture, and room to dance if the drink moves you in the downstairs bit. They have excellent imported beers on tap and mix a mean cocktail.
Seriously popular with the locals, Two Floors is a place to go for a drink with your mates.
