Firmly established for over 20 years, the Boundary Gallery is extremely precise in terms of the principles upon which it judges art. It focuses on two areas of painting only (Modern British and Contemporary) and judges works on the following four factors: they must be "figurative with strong composition", have "something to say", and demonstrate both "good draughtsmanship" and a "brilliant palette".
What peculiarly particular people are behind this enterprise? Who knows, but if you agree with their strict criteria then it's probably worth paying them a visit.
