This newly opened little sister to The Bathhouse nestled on Stoke Newington High Street has two floors and a garden. It's decadent and beautifully tricked out with birdcages and plush decor.

They have a regular Sunday party, which is free - Jeff Leach and Bankrupt European dish out a selection of Sunday soul, jazz, funk, electro and more.

Well I went this weekend and it promised so much, it was going to be different a change to all the bars in Stoke Newington...

Nothing special apart from the bar staff, much better bars in Stokey.

I had a fantastic time here on their opening night last Friday, really great music, and even some people dancing - which is a seriously unusual for a bar on Church street! I went with a friend but ended up chatting to everyone in the bar, it was a really fun inclusive atmosphere. I've read the above review and didn't think that drinks were too pricy, they're pretty much on par with The Lion across the road, I think a bottle of beer was £2.80.
All in all an excellent new addition, and I'm so glad to finally have a decent bar in the neighbourhood - I might add the last start when they've opened the garden!
