Nestled above a snooker hall, The Others is an obscure little jewel. It has the vibe of your cool mate from school's basement or attic space that you used to skive in to smoke bongs. It's got the battered sofas, a make-shift bar and strange paintings haphazardly punctuating the walls.

Unless there's an event of interest occurring here, you probably won't stumble upon The Others - but you should. It's nice.

This place is amazing. It's like what I imagine a youth club in the 1980s to look like, and it even has a table football. Plus it's just down the road from me - bonus.

Looks like they have some good nights on as well - some krautrock on saturdays which i will be checking out.
