Formerly the Albery, this large and comfortable theatre sits right next to Leicester Square, and was a fitting choice to honour Britain’s best loved playwright, actor and composer who appeared on its stage thousands of times.

A beautiful, ornate theatre with four tiers of comfy seats for nearly 900 punters, good acoustics and a real sense of history. It was here that Lawrence Olivier played the Dane in the legendary production of Hamlet and the theatre is hallowed ground for British luvvies, even if there is a puppet show in town for the foreseeable future.
