A popular urban legend has it that in 1968, Robert P. McCulloch thought he was bidding for the impressive Tower Bridge instead he won the decaying London Bridge. A fact he denied until his death in 1977.

Finished in 1894, the majestic bridge over the River Thames is one of the most recognisable bridges in the world.
