Twickenham Stadium

Rugby Road , Twickenham, TW1 1DS

Twickers has been the home of English rugby since the first international was played here in 1910, when 20,000 spectators witnessed England v Wales on the old cabbage patch.

With more than four times that amount fitting in now, it is the second largest stadium in the UK behind Wembley, and they also do a nice sideline in international rock megashows.

The likes of U2, The Rolling Stones and The Police have played here before, with these massive gigs taking on the feeling of mini-festivals.

Ok, so I may have a slightly different Twickenham experience in that anything I've seen at the Stadium has been through working the bar on the pitch, but what I have seen has always been brilliant.

Bon Jovi and The Police to some hearty Rugby, this stadium has a nice feel to it. It never really seems crowded and there are way too many bars to choose from (not that it's a guarantee of a short queue).

Added points for having a pick 'n' mix stand- makes Twickenham Stadium a winner in my eyes. The staff are excellent too...
