Lovely big pub with a predominantly gay clientele in Vauxhall, providing much needed beer and sunlight in contrast to the mega clubs littering the area. The place has been a stalwart on the London Gay scene for neigh on forty years now, and despite redevelopment threats, shows no sign of abating.

The Royal Vauxhall are incredibly proactive and organise events for their loyal punters every night of the week, from Bingo on a Monday to Brou Ha Ha camp comedy night on Tuesdays hosted by Zoe Lyons, to the iconic Duckie drag night on the weekends.

Totally straight friendly, reasonably priced and properly comfortable, this is a brilliant place.
