Built in 1860 by acclaimed churchbuilder John Loughborough Pearson, Vauxhall's St Peter's was originally built as a sanctuary for the local area, then ravaged by poverty.
These days, the fortunes of the area have taken an upward turn, but the church remains a focal point for the communities arts and cultural heritage, as well as the more traditional religious functions.
