Established over thirty years ago, Mathaf Galery is one of the world leaders in Orientalism (that's 19th Century paintings of Arabia, not the book by Edward Said, obviously).

The gallery hosts exhibitions form time to time which are usually themed around a particular area or style. Due to the amazing quality of the gallery's collection these shows are usually very interesting.
