The Plough Inn has stood in the same spot since 1875, when Walthamstow was merely a quiet village on the north-eastern outskirts of London.
Since the new management came in at the start of 2003, they have put the emphasis on live music, and they attract some decent blues, folk, and acoustic acts.
With a regular pub quiz and specialised music quiz, some excellent guest ales and a bohemian ambience unrivalled in this area, the Plough is a real winner.
