A celebrated gastropub to the north of Wandsworth Common, The Freemasons is a claret-coloured landmark where good food, good drinks and a cosy atmosphere are very forthcoming.
The gastro template is all there; visible kitchen, premium continental lagers and olives on the bar, but this place still manages to rise above the rest and has rightly gained a reputation as one of southwest London's finest drinking holes.
The quiz on Mondays is difficult enough without being impossible, and you'll struggle to find a more family-friendly pub around this area. Go once and you'll definitely return.
