Utterly traditional pub, popular with civil servants working in nearby Whitehall. This regular but stingy clientèle have helped keep the prices down and they do a demon pint of real ale.
There's a beer garden out the back which is worth knowing about if you find yourself near the Houses of Parliament over the summer and are in need of a few beers. It's also worth a visit for their excellent Monday night comedy slot, Electric Mouse.
