An impeccable but ever so slightly incongruous members club experience available if you know the right people in the middle of the Hoxditch area. The jewel in the crown is the heated swimming pool on the top floor with a view over London toward the Gherkin. You want to have a cocktail on the roof. Seriously.

Like its sister establishments The Electric, Soho House and so on, this place really knows its stuff. Their cocktails are extraordinary and the kitchen produces spectacular food. There are comfortable nooks and corners everywhere and plenty of dancing space in the main rooms, thoughtfully kitted out with mirrors for optimised people watching.

However, while every aspect of this place is just about perfect, you have to wonder why people need members clubs in the 21st century. This place seems particularly strange and incongruous amongst the thrilling grime and glitz of Shoreditch.
