Al Warwick previews Warm at Plastic People on Friday 18 December where Todd Terje will be amongst the names keeping the crowds cosy

Anyone who regularly frequents the delights of Big Chill Bar will be all too familiar with the refreshing techno and house imprints of Ali Tillet – the man behind the mega popular 'Warm' nights.
Now at Shoreditch's beautifully simple Plastic People, Tillet's monthly residencies clearly have the pedigree to repeatedly attract the hottest names and favourites of the knowledgeable nous crowds.
Friday 18 December sees Tillet himself joined by the greatest moustachio'd Norwegian to ever grace the nu-disco scene. Todd Terje has been stealing the show at every one of the huge events he's appeared at this year. A sense of fun and a whole lot of sexy funk lace his sets and why should such a policy – when enforced so effortlessly - be changed for this one.
The Revenge is a man who can match Terje's dependability every inch of the way even if he understandably falls short in the realms of extravagant facial hair. Deep house but with some generous lashings of hip hop and electro that should bode well with any Plastic People regulars who enjoy the Saturday night showcases of such sounds.
The ingredients are all present, correct and rich in flavour for this one; a powerhouse of a sound system, a dense and varied clientele who love to get down to the good stuff and a line up who can and do deliver said stuff every time.
At £10 on the night this is a cinch.
