Amazingly well presented and undeniably educating, you'll think twice about your copy of "Heat" after checking this little gem out. Easy to spend a few hours in here, it presents the way magazines directed at women have changed, but still have some of the same topics.
Still, if you don't fancy the actual exhibition so much, then settle into the December 1981 UK edition of Cosmo, you can't just pick that up anywhere.

It's a great time here on their Thursday indie nights, if you're not too concerned about timing is all. (What true indie kid is?) Show doesn't kick off until 9:30, not the advertised 8, but presents a great break from the monotony and posing of most Indie gigs. Shout out to the Hornblower Brothers, the highlight of the night for sure.

Super club, I went to see a great live show, and just I happened upon a night where the best b-boys in London were having a night out in between competitions. After the and was finished, great hip-hop tunes were blaring in the side room, and they couldn't resist, so I was shown a great show, free of charge!
I was told that its the club that Lily Allen had her big break at....that is if you don't count myspace as giving you a big break.
Great times, groovy club, and totally good vibe.

Interesting side note on this pub, if you're a crime buff. This is the pub where Ruth Ellis shot her lover, in a jealous rage. Even though the pub has been redone gastro style, they kept the wall with the bullet holes intact, just for history's sake. For those of you unaware of Britian's history of capital punishment, Ruth Ellis means nothing to you, but she's actually the last woman Britian ever sentenced to death by hanging. So head there and impress your friends with your knowledge in this little gem in Hampstead.
