Ram Records come of age.
Traditionally the preserve of gangsters (proper ones though), the playground of dealers and the glittering bauble to vulnerable impressionable teenagers, London’s nightlife does not always throw up much worth celebrating unless …you love drum and bass.
Ram Records, on their 18th birthday, return to their spiritual home, the environs of WC1, and more specifically Fabric, to celebrate the advent of their graduation into an adult music label (legally allowed to drink and everything).
The great and the good, the bad, the rude and the ugly will all be present and in full effect as bona fide electronic music royalty Chase and Status, Scratch Perverts, Marcus Intalex, D-Bridge, Appleblim, the mighty, mighty Red One, and the one, the only, the executioner, the People’s Champion, the one like Andy C! (to name but a few) will be holding court and filling the air with wall to wall, euphoric, screw face, upfront drum and bass pressure.
Fats, IC3, GQ, SP:MC, DRS and Justyce will be leading us all in a merry dance under the Ram’s horns across Fabric’s three rooms as we celebrate this rather English institution well into Saturday morning. The dance is within us all. Step inside, come and play.
