Hustlaball at Area

Hustlaball at Area

With regular nights in LA and New York City, London's first gay porn star party arrives at Area, Vauxhall.

With a cruisy, up for it crowd of glitterati, leather clad muscle boys and bears, and the world's most famous porn stars, you may never be surrounded by so many jaw-droppingly gorgeous men, drawn to the party from all over the world.

Spread across the two main rooms, the performers start off with strip tease, and progress to all out sex shows. Performances are carried off with amazing attitude, skill and style. Almost nothing is too hardcore for these big boys, so be warned – Hustla parties are not for the easily shocked! Being one of the few girls at the event, I can say that despite the horny, hedonistic vibe, everyone is equally friendly, with smiles and time for everyone.

Area's crisp, deep-thumping sound system pumps out house, techno and trance tracks from an array of international DJ including Chi Chi LaRue, Sammy Jo and David Hernandez, who keep things fresh but don't take themselves too seriously: There's a healthy mix of brand new material and older classics from the time when hard house was very much rooted in the scene. This keeps everyone going well into the next day, where the party inevitably continues at Fire.

Whatever you're here for, the night represents much of what we love about the harder edge of Vauxhall nightlife. If you like your men as hard as your music, head to the Hustla Ball.
