The Warehouse Project with Delphic

The Warehouse Project with Delphic

For one night only, Manchester's biggest rave comes to London.

Obviously there are plentiful raves and club nights to be sampled in London, but somehow Manchester export The Warehouse Project is building a whole lot of hype. It's a clubbing mecca, renowned for its consistently fantastic line-ups and crazy late nights, making winter up north that little bit more bearable.

Friday 30th sees the WHP head sounth to London for a showcase of DJs from across the electronic music spectrum, as well as live music from Manchester-based indie/electronica crossover act Delphic. The three-piece's critically acclaimed album 'Alcolyte' was released this year, a fusion of euphoric electronica with anthemic 'post-dance' songs.

Joining them on the bill is quite an eclectic line-up of DJs from very different genres, catering for the indie shoegazer, the bass addict and the dubstep lover. Orgasmic and Teki Latex (of TTC fame), aka the Sound Pellegrino Thermal Team, will be there to represent the label, which is the "little brother label" of bass-heavy Institubes. Their musical philosophy is a tricky one to summarise, mashing up anything interesting and attitude-giving, from tribal rhythms to pumping tech house and groovy yet heavy basslines. Mumdance, of Mad Decent records, mashes up heavy layered rhythms and pounding bass driven set. He'll be playing in the area hosted by Adventures in the Beetroot field. Italo disco connoisseurs Retro/Grade will be playing, fresh from supporting Groove Armada on their (supposedly) final live tour, and there'll also be dark and eery dubstep courtesy of Untold
