Win a pair of tickets to see the National Theatre production of John Hodge’s Collaborators at a participating cinema of your choice
The fantastic and ground-breaking National Theatre Live season continues with a broadcast performance of John Hodge’s Collaborators. Spoonfed has teamed up with the National Theatre to offer readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to go to the cinema to watch one of the plays of the year.
Hodge is the acclaimed screenwriter of Trainspotting and Shallow Grave. With Collaborators he has cast his eye to Stalinist Russia in a Soviet twist on the Faust legend. Mikhail Bulgakov (real-life author of The Master and Margarita, played by Alex Jennings) is a man with a sense of humour and a sense of freedom. Dangerous things to have in Moscow in 1938. And then, to add to the peril, he’s offered a commission to write a play about Stalin (Simon Russell Beale) to celebrate the tyrant’s 60th birthday.
The production will be broadcast live to cinemas around the world on Thursday 1 December, and we’ve got a pair of tickets to the screening at a participating cinema of your choice. For more information please visit the National Theatre Live website.
