The RSC presents Dunsinane – a new play comissioned for the Hampstead Theatre, written by multi award-winning Scottish playwright David Greig.
Following his smash hit Midsummer which recently transferred form the Edinburgh Festival to Soho Theatre, David’s next new play is a darkly comic epic for the RSC. England has invaded Scotland and Macbeth is dead. Now the English general Siward must try to restore peace at all costs in a country ravaged by conflict and unwilling to accept a foreign power’s influence.
