Date Night: Bounce!

Date Night: Bounce!

Ping pong and Pizza. Pizza and ping pong. What’s not to like?

Where?

Holborn way

How much?

Depends when you go. Off peak, 30 minutes weighs in at only £10. And at peak times, £13.

Why?

We at DoingSomething firmly believe that a date should give you something to talk about. And there’s nothing like a game of ping pong as a minor distraction while you’re getting to know someone new. Loser buys the first round.

And because if you like pizza, and if you like ping pong - and let’s face it - who doesn’t - then Bounce! is THE play to be. They’ve got 17, yes 17! ping pong tables. They’ve even nicked one from the Olympics. Well, we say nicked, the ownership details aren’t clear, but there’s an Olympic table there.

Also, and surely not by coincidence, Bounce! has built on the spot where table tennis was invented in 1901. Whiff-whaff? It was invented here first. Back off France!

Top tips?

Gents! Don’t go all competitive Dad. It’s Gentlemanly to not crush your opponent into the ground. And if you lose, suck it up. No one likes a sore loser.
