Why?
You know the problem with most dates? They’re too based around what the girl wants. Yeah, going for tea at the Ritz or a some swanky wine bar in the West End is fun and all that, but guys, after you’ve been out with someone a few times, it’s totally OK to inject a bit of testosterone into the mix now and then.

Let’s face it, sports don’t come as testosterone fuelled as stock car racing. Basically, it’s souped-uped cars racing around an oval track with very few rules. Whilst Wimbledon dog track doesn’t have the same romance as say Talladega or Daytona, it is considered one of the best oval tracks in Europe and has that down-beaten, oddly amusing British charm that is all its own. After all, can you buy scampi and chips in Tallegada? Nope we didn’t think so.

Racing takes place on every Sunday evening between October and end of March , and there’s a list of dates on the Spedeworth Motorsports website.

Top Tips
Fortunately, this is the UK, so you don’t have to watch out for t-shirts flying out of bazookas. All you need to remember is your woolly hat; it’s getting pretty cold out there.
