Dom Haley selects his top three gigs for the week ahead

Tuesday 3rd of May

Baths @ Cargo

The project of LA music-maker Will Wisenfeld, Baths is a much more cerebral take on the whole glitch-hop thing, coming across like a hail of lush melodies, ghostly choirs, playful instrumentation and stuttering beats.

Tuesday 3rd of May
Times New Viking @ XOYO

Almost like a more punk version of Guided By Voices, Times New Viking manages to convey feel-good, summer pop songs through a twisted prism of pounding drums and blissed-out psychedelic noise.

Saturday 7th May
Cerebral Ballzy @ The Macbeth

A band of hard partying kids from Brooklyn, Cerebral Ballzy have become one of the biggest names in hardcore recently, thanks to kick-ass live show and a sound that really reminds us of Suicidal Tendencies and Bad Brains back in their thrash heyday.
