Beach Fossils, "Vacation" by HuffingtonPost

Combing the lo-fi sound of the C86 lot with a 60s garage-rock feel, New York's Beach Fossils are a jangly surf-pop outfit that have been compared to the likes of Wavves and The Drums.

Thursday 31st May
The Hundred in the Hands @ Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen

The Hundred In The Hands - The Hundred In The Hands by Warp Records

A dark, brooding but unashamedly cool concoction, brewed out of French house, kraut rock, no wave and the odd '60s girl group melody, The Hundred in the Hands are one of the reasons why we secretly want to move to Brooklyn.

Saturday 1st June
Field Day @ Victoria Park

That magical day, once every year when Victoria Park ushers out all of the playing children and dog walkers and welcomes in 20,000 indie kids, Field Day might be a little early this year, but when it’s got the likes of SBTRKT, Beirut, Metronomy, Franz Ferdiand and The Men playing, it’s easily going to be more awesome than ever.
