Dom Haley selects his top three gigs for the week ahead

Wednesday 31st August

Theme Park @ The Lexington

Theme Park consist of twin brothers Miles and Marcus Haughton, Louis Bhose and Oscar Manthorpe. They make their own unique brand of indie/electro/pop and are doing no harm, just good. Wanna know more? Check out our interview.

Thursday 1st  September
IceAge @ Old Blue Last

A bunch of Danish punk heads, IceAge are probably the only band in Europe who seem able to take on the likes of Fucked Up and Cerebral Ballzy at their own game. Brash, loud and cool as hell, these guys are sharp as a tack.

Saturday 3rd September
The Fresh and Onlys @ The Lexington

One of the pillars of San Francisco’s garage rock movement, The Fresh and Onlys area clash of fay psychedelia, crashing 60s rock and early 90s indie pop that is seriously hard to dislike. Poised to release an exclusive EP on Sexbeat, they play a special show at the Lexington tonight.

We checked out OFF! and Tripple Nipples last week.
