Dom Haley selects his top three gigs for the week ahead

Tuesday 10th January

Corpsekisser @ Power Lunches

s there a more awesome name for a band than Corpsekisser? Not likely. Hailing from New York, they're an experimental indie outfit who make loll-along dream pop that is one part enchanting and two parts creepy.

Wednesday 11th January
Psychic Dancehall @ The Shacklewell Arms

A super big deal this! Psychic Dancehall is a collaboration between Crocodiles man Charles Rowell and Hollie Cook of The Slits. Flirting with dub, indie, punk and noise pop, they play their first ever UK show at the Shacklewell tonight. To say were excited is a bit of an understatement.

Friday 13th – Saturday 14th January
Jocelyn Brown @ The Jazz Cafe

Probably the greatest living diva, Jocelyn Brown has lent her remarkably powerful vocals to more soul, disco and dance tracks than we care to mention. A complete and total legend.
