Dom Haley selects his top three gigs for the week ahead

Tuesday 8th November

Django Django at Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen

Django Django - Waveforms by Django Django

Specialising in strange sounding future pop and even stranger shirts, Django Django are both the coolest band in Hackney and the bane of Kingsland Road's charity shops.

Wednesday 9th November
Girls @ Electric Ballroom

Girls - Honey Bunny by pillowjungle

One of the stand outs of the current crop of dreamy, neo-psychedelia bands who have been coming out of San Fransisco at the moment, Girls' music comes with a chaser of emotional honesty to wash down all of woozy, reverb laden indie rock.

Friday 11th November
Com Truise @ Shacklewell Arms

Futureworld (WIP) by Com Truise

One of the many personas of producer and designer Seth Haley, Com Truise sounds like hearing Joy Division, New Order, and the Cocteau Twins played through the motherboard of a waterlogged Playstation 1.
