Editor's Choice - Live Music

Dom Haley selects his top three gigs for the week ahead.

Wednesday 30th March

Crystal Stilts @ Cargo

A band who have mastered the dark arts of sounding like the Velvet Underground and Joy Division at the same time, Crystal Stilts take a break from freaking out New York hipsters with their woozy garage rock, and turn their attention on us for a change.

Crystal Stilts - Shake the Shackles by Slumberland Records

Thursday 31st March
Deerhunter @ Shepherd’s Bush Empire

ATP favourites Deerhunter drop by the Shepherd's Bush Empire tonight to showcase songs from their new, and absolutely brilliant album 'Halcyon Digest'.

Deerhunter - Agoraphobia by joanan

Spaghetti Tree @ The Bussey Building

Featuring the likes of Dan Deacon, John Maus, No Age and Ducktails, Spaghetti Tree is like a miniature version of Yes Way, and is probably closest you’re going to get to seeing all of those insanely rad American bands you read about in Pitchfork without having to shell out for a ticket for SXSW or Coachella.

No Age - Glitter by subpop
