Editor's Choice - Live Music

20 September, 2010
by: Domzig

Every Monday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week ahead. Dom Haley selects his top three gigs.

Tuesday 21st September
Mount Kimbie at XOYO

A Peckham-based electronica who float through dubstep and hip-hop, jazz, techno and ambient, post-rock, UK garage and film scores, Mount Kimbie are a band that are both utterly sceneless and completely genre-defying.

Mount Kimbie - Field by Ragged Words

Thursday 23rd September
Josh Weller @ Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen

Coming across like a fight between Elvis Costello, Jack Penate and a pair of slacks, Josh Weller is one of the brightest bulbs in the massive chandelier that is London's acoustic scene.

Friday 24th September
Fuzzy Lights @ The Buffalo Bar

Possibly one of the most aptly titled bands in London right now, Fuzzy Lights are a pretty out-there blend of psych-folk, Americana and noise-rock who have been turning a few heads recently.
