Dom Haley selects his top three gigs for the week ahead

Monday 13th of February

Fairewell @ The Social

Born Under a Bad Sign by Fairewell

Easily the best shoegaze outfit to crawl out of the mire in the last few years, Fairewell plays their third ever solo show at the Social this week. According to the NME, he's considering packing in his live shows, so you should make sure you're at this one.

Wednesday 15th February
Cavemen @ The Macbeth

Bow And Arrow by cavemen

A bunch of up and coming indie kids from Brookyln, Cavemen play their first ever UK date at the Macbeth tonight. Armed with synths, guitars and a folkish sense of indie pop, these guys sound like Talking Heads meeting Beach House.

Saturday 18th February
Rent Boys @ The Windmill

Rent Boys - Jesus Told Me by gonewiththeweed

Chainsaw guitars, dirty riffs and screaming vocals. The Rent Boys from Leeds - so that's not The Rent Boys from Atlanta Georgia or the ones from a sleazy Soho back alley - headline at The Windmill this Friday.  High energy garage rock left in its raw, unedited, original form. This will be a sweaty one.
