'New Radiohead Song' Leaks on YouTube

'New Radiohead Song' Leaks on YouTube

It happens to the best of us, and now it seems that even Radiohead have found their stuff stolen and put up on the internet, when today a song strongly suspected to be brand new has appeared online.

The song, labelled as 'These are Words' appeared on YouTube this morning, has already caused the NME, XFM and Q Magazine to go into a tizz, and has been compared to the group's 2001 single 'Knives Out'. For everyone who's dying to hear it, here it is:-

However, here is where the plot thickens. Radiohead, who are currently recording with Nigel Gorich, notoriously released their last album over the internet for donations, and recently even Thom Yorke was quoted as saying that the band was looking to step away from conventional albums in the future.

Add to that the bands imminent headline slots at Reading and Leeds festivals, and the suspicions that all this is a conspiracy master-minded by the band themselves are already flying all over Blogland like bees. Are Radiohead above cynical marketing ploys? Who knows, but the PRS are bound to be mad as hell.
