Dom Haley selects his top three gigs for the week ahead

Tuesday 5th July

OFWGKTA @ The Electric Ballroom

Possibly one of the best live bands we've seen for a very, very long time, OFWGKTA are either the saviours of rap or a horribly sick inside joke that only skinny white people get.

Wednesday 6th July
Xeno and Oaklander @ Cargo

Just when you thought every seven-inch of the post-punk '80s had been plundered, affect a suitably melancholic pose for the revival of a new old sound from the vaults - cold wave. Leading the charge are New York duo Xeno and Oaklander, a band whose minimal take on synth-pop seems like it's been plucked straight from the back streets of Paris circa 1982.

Saturday 9th July
1-2-3-4 Shoreditch Festival @ Shoreditch Park

Featuring the likes of Black Lips, Lydia Lunch and Damo Suzuki, the 1-2-3-4 Festival will be serving a whole days worth of beserkoid music for your listening pleasure.
