Dom Haley selects his top three gigs for the week ahead

Monday 19th September

The Black Angels @ The Scala

Probably the most awe-inspiring live band in the world at the moment, The Black Angels were one of the stand-out bands at this year's Primavera with their highly psychedelic blend of Spacemen 3 and the 13th Floor Elevators.

Wednesday 21st September
Teeth @ The Lexington

One of the bands who make the East London experimental scene so damn entertaining, Teeth basically sound like a guy who has swallowed a Moog and can only play it by hitting himself repeatedly in the stomach. Don't worry though; it's not as painful as it sounds.

Friday 23rd September
Fair Ohs @ The Stag’s Head

Self-proclaimed indie colonists, Fair Ohs are a colourful barrage of calypso, punk rock,  afro-pop and new wave that makes people go completely mental for some reason.
