Dom Haley selects his top three gigs for the week ahead

Tuesday 1st November

Trailer Trash Tracys @ Electricity Showrooms

Peddling a blend of symphonic noise that sits well with Daydream Nation era Sonic Youth, Trailer Trash Tracys make psychedelic pop with some seriously up-lifting qualities. Imagine The Ravonettes but way more scary.

Friday 4th November
Dananananaykroyd @ KCLSU

One of the last chances you're ever going get to see these guys, Scottish dance punks Dananananaykroyd will be going absolutely nuts down at Kings College this week. One of the best live bands we’ve ever seen – we’re sure going to miss them.

Saturday 5th November
Hookworms @ Power Lunches Arts Cafe

A 5-piece psychedelic rock band in a similar vein to Spacemen 3, Hookworms make dense, Wooden Shjips-style grooves that skitter between intense, echo drenched wailing and epic astral synth drones.
