Dom Haley selects his top three gigs for the week ahead

Tuesday 14th June

Trash Talk @ CAMP

Sacramento's Trash Talk combine the furious playing style of thrash with the anger and fun of punk into what can only be described as the most awesome live show ever. Fucked Up really have nothing on these guys. Expect circle pits and sweat pouring from the walls.

Wednesday 15th June
Mazes @ The Shacklewell Arms

I don’t think we can recommend Mazes enough, their lazy brew of Pavement meeting the Pastells soundtracking the start of our summer and almost every track on their debut album is an absolute killer. Tonight they celebrate the launch of their second single ‘Summer Hits’ with a show at the Shacklewell.

Friday 17th June
Wu Lyf @ Village Underground

The storm-troopers of 'heavy pop' (whatever that is), Wu Lyf are either the most mysterious band to ever come out of Manchester, or some strange, reverb-pedal worshipping cult. We can't really tell.
