Every Friday, our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week ahead. Emma McAlpine selects her top three gigs.

Monday 12th-Saturday 17th March
Alex Horne: Seven Years in the Bathroom @ Soho Theatre
Fringe favourite Alex Horne presents another thought-provoking and funny show, attempting to recreate your entire life within the course of a sixty minutes. So in an average lifetime you’ll spend two years shopping, two weeks kissing and eighteen months looking for lost things. You’ll also spend quite a while eating, queuing, crying and googling yourself.

Wednesday 14th March
ComComedy Presents Progress @ Queen of Hoxton
Featuring stand-up and sketches from some of the most exciting up-and-coming acts on the circuit, this month's ComComedy show is themed around progress. Presented by Ben Target and Matthew Highton (with 4D glasses provided), the show will also feature fast-paced sketch hilarity from WitTank, one half of the Gentlemen of Leisure, Nish Kumar, amusing oddballs John Kearns and Pat Cahill and exciting newcomers Oyster Eyes. Aces.

Thursday 15th March

Colin Hoult: The New Adventures @ Leicester Square Theatre
Pant-wettingly funny character comedian, poet, crooner and adventurer Colin Hoult returns with a regular night of brand new comedy and music with a sci-fi twist. Featuring different special guests each month.
