Stewart Lee: Carpet Remnant World
@ LST

What can a sexless middle-aged married man, whose life now consists mainly of watching Scooby Doo cartoons with a four-year-old boy, possibly find to write comedy about? Plenty it turns out. From riots to vast retail outlets, Stewart Lee examines the world around him in typically dry (and utterly hilarious) style. Following a brilliant second BBC2 series of Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle; the pioneering stand-up and cult favourite returns to the Leicester Square Theatre with a brand new full-length show, running for over four months. Hurrah!

Tuesday 22nd-Saturday 26th November
Sean Hughes: Life Becomes Noise @ Soho Theatre

Never Mind The Buzzcocks star Sean Hughes returns to the Soho with more acerbic and quick-fire stand-up; tackling the issues of the day and the topics that matter most to him, ranging from capital punishment to his mother's hearing aid.

Friday 25th November
DONG
@ Rich Mix

DONG is a new hip-hop comedy show from the teams behind Knock2Bag and Book Slam. Expect breakdancing, rapping and singing from burger van man Angelos Epithemiou (Shooting Stars), musical misadventures from BBC New Comedy Award finalist 2011 Pat Cahill and comedy rapping from Doc Brown, not to be confused with absurdist comic Doctor Brown, who will also be there, no doubt showcasing plenty of amusing weirdness.

Sony Award winning KISS FM radio show presenter Big Ted will be manning the decks for the evening and there will also be screenings of comedy rap videos from the likes of Brian Gittins, Snoop Dogg and more; plus performances from the DONG Dancers and some hip-hop karaoke. Dope!
