Editor's Choice - Comedy

22 February, 2010
by: Emma

Every Monday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week ahead. Emma McAlpine selects her top three comedy nights.

From Friday 26th February
Phil Kay @ BAC

Having recently told us he is looking to quit the comedy business, this might be your last chance to Phil Kay perform his inimitable brand of improvised stand-up in a full length show. As the BAC's comedy festival draws to a close this weekend, the Scottish legend will perform two hours of free-wheeling mayhem on Friday and Saturday night.

From Friday 26th February
The Fix Presents...Eleanor The Tour Whore @ The Enterprise

Rich Fulcher (Snuff Box, The Mighty Boosh) brings his new comic creation Eleanor The Tour Whore to Camden this weekend for 'comedy, music, f***ing and filth mongering'. If you can't get tickets to Friday's gig at the Camden Head, there are more available for Sunday's gig at The Enterprise.

Sunday 28th February
Colin Hoult: Enemy of The World @ Etcetera Theatre

One of the funniest character acts to emerge last year, Colin Hoult follows up his critically-acclaimed Carnival of Monsters with a preview of his brand new show for 2010. Prepare for a 'study in villainy, a trip through the dark recesses of your black and withered souls and a feast of tragi - comic delights'.
