Every Monday our editors bring you their personal highlights of the week ahead. Emma McAlpine selects her top three comedy nights.

1st-13th March
PARTY @ Arts Theatre
Winner of the esteemed Fringe First Award 2009, Tom Basden's play PARTY finally comes to London this month with a stellar cast of actors. Starring 2009 Edinburgh 'Best Newcomer' Jonny Sweet and 'Best Show' winner Tim Key, it follows the mission of four young idealists, who have decided to form a new political party to save the world from itself, in a garden shed.

3rd-6th March
Tommy and the Weeks @ Soho Theatre
Leftfield sketch duo Tommy and the Weeks can usually be found on the comedy club circuit but this month they've upgraded to the esteemed comedy venue - Soho Theatre, where they will make their West End debut. One of the funniest double acts around, expect surreal silliness, insults and songs.

Thursday 4th March
War on Want Comedy Gig 2010
@ O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire
The comedy charity gig is back this year with another killer line-up featuring the likes of legendary Irish stand-up Ed Byrne, master of the long gag, Stewart Lee, the consistently sharp Ian Stone and the offbeat charms of Dan Antopolski (winner of the 'Funniest Joke Edinburgh 2009').
