Daniel Kitson previews @ Invisible Dot

Comedy legend Daniel Kitson works on his new theatrical story show for Edinburgh 2010, called It's Always Right Now, Until It's Later. As these shows are very much unfinished, tickets are only £2, but it's rare you even come away from a Kitson show disappointed, even when he's testing new stuff.

Thursday 8th July -Saturday 10th July
The Penny Dreadfuls @ Greenwich Theatre
One of the hottest sketch acts in the UK, T
he Penny Dreadfuls are previewing their brand new show at the Greenwich Theatre this week. The trio's previous comedy thrillers, Aeneas Faversham Forever and The Never Man, were silly, clever and skillfully acted, garnering a string of five star reviews along the way. This year, we can't wait to see what they've got in store for Edinburgh as they return to their sketch roots.

Saturday 10th July
Maxwell's Fullmooners @ Udderbelly

Andrew Maxwell's late-night cabaret show has attracted a hardcore gathering of fans since it began in 2005 and was the first place to welcome Simon Pegg on stage after nearly a decade off the circuit. Go go girls, breakdancers and big nane comics make up the bill, which has in the past seen Matt Lucas, Noel Fielding, Russell Brand and Doug Stanhope perform dynamite sets.
